Quick answers to common questions about using Cubbie.

How do I find kid-friendly places near me?

Open Cubbie and allow location access when prompted. The map will center on your location and show nearby spots. You can also use the list view and sort by distance, or use filters to narrow down by type (park, playground, restaurant, etc.), environment (indoor/outdoor), and cost (free/paid).

How do I submit a new location?

Tap the "+" button to go to the Add page. Paste a Google Maps or Apple Maps link for the place you want to add. Cubbie will extract the location info automatically. Fill in the details, choose the category, and submit. An admin will review it before it goes live โ€” usually within a few days.

How does the voting (๐Ÿฏ / ๐Ÿ) work?

Tap the honeypot ๐Ÿฏ to give a spot a thumbs up, or the bee ๐Ÿ to give it a thumbs down. You need to be signed in with your Google account to vote. You can change your vote at any time. Votes help the community sort great spots to the top.

A location has wrong information or no longer exists. What do I do?

Open the location's detail page and tap "Report Issue." Choose the issue type (incorrect info, closed, no play area, duplicate, etc.) and optionally add a note. A Cubbie admin will review the report and update or remove the listing.

Do I need to sign in to use Cubbie?

You can browse the map and view locations without signing in. However, you need to sign in with your Google account to vote on locations or submit new ones.

How do I sign in?

Tap "Sign In" in the sidebar and choose "Sign in with Google." Cubbie uses Google Sign-In โ€” no passwords to create or manage.

How do I remove ads?

Open the Settings page in the app and tap "Remove Ads." This is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple. Once purchased, ads will be disabled permanently. You can restore the purchase on any device using the same Apple ID via "Restore Purchases" in Settings.

How do I delete my account or data?

Email us at support@mycubbie.com and we'll delete your account data within 30 days. This includes your submitted locations, votes, and issue reports.

Something isn't working right.

Try closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, email us at support@mycubbie.com with a description of what happened and what device/iOS version you're on. Screenshots are always helpful!
